Job Title: Divisional Manager

Location: Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for growth and expansion of the division in Maharashtra State. This position is responsible for ensuring proactive management of operational, financial and environmental risks in the division. The position will be responsible for implementing operational projects, including managing the man power for the division that the organization prioritizes periodically.

Experience: 5- 10 years of relevant Experience in Microfinance

Education: Graduate – Any Specialization; Post Graduation- Any Specialization

Key Accountabilities:
Growth and Expansion:

  • Create expansion plans for new branch opening as per agreed targets
  • Plan ways to implement new products and services in the division to meet the established targets
  • Monitor achievement all the targets for the division including growth, profit, member retention, and division overhead expenses
  • Implement strategic initiatives (people or operations related) taken by the management team/ head office

Operations Management:

  • Identify and plan cost control initiatives to reduce overall operating costs in the division
  • Identify, plan for and implement processes to track and measure critical field data required for decision making
  • Design and implement risk management process at the branch/ area/ division level and report variances as per the established frequency

Stakeholder Interactions:

  • Identify and build relationships with key officials in government, NGO and other organizations at the district level
  • Develop and maintain relationship with external stakeholders
  • Build brand image and visibility of Grameen Koota in the division
  • Participant in all SEDs in the division

People Management:

  • Conduct  and complete performance reviews for all area managers at the established frequency  and timeline
  • Participate in recruitment, trainings, transfer and  promotion process of his area
  • Plan and support implement of  capability building initiatives for employees in the division
  • Responsible for a team of 5 to 8 direct reports – 100 – 120 indirect employees

Compensation: Salary will commensurate with qualification and experience.

Job Title: Area Manager
Location: Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh

Position Summary:
This position is responsible to meet client and portfolio related growth target in the assigned area (5 to 7 branches) and the incumbent shall be responsible for the implementation and monitoring of new products and services in the area.

Experience: 4- 9 years of relevant Experience in Microfinance

Education: Graduate – Any Specialization; Post Graduation- Any Specialization

Key Accountabilities:
Growth and Expansion:

  • Support Divisional Managers in identifying potential areas for expansion in his/her area
  • Implement expansion plan by setting up new branches as per agreed targets
  • Implement and monitor new products and services outreach and awareness in the area to meet the established targets
  • Monitor achievement all the targets for the area for existing and new products  including growth,  member retention and branch overhead expenses

Operations Management:

  • Monitor  and review effective functioning and administration at all branches on a monthly basis
  • Complete monthly branch performance reviews on time and submit desired reports to the HO
  • Conduct documentation verification of all new group formations prior to disbursement of loans to clients
  • Conduct GRTs for all new groups on a timely basis
  • Monitor and meet audit compliance requirements across all branches
  • Track and report key metrics in the area related to client repayment trends, new needs of the client base, PPI, feedback about new products and services on a monthly / quarterly basis
  • Maintain relationships with external agencies like Government officials, local leaders  & other similar kind of institutions
  • Assess, manage and control risk on portfolio

People Management:

  • Conduct  and complete performance reviews for all branch managers at the established frequency  and timeline
  • Participate in recruitment and implementation of training for subordinates
  • Responsible for a team of 5 to 6 direct reports; Indirect span of control – 40 to 45 employees

Job Title: Branch Manager
Location: Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for achieving branch targets of outreach, portfolio quality and portfolio disbursement on a monthly basis, through a team of Kendra managers. This position is also responsible for overall administration and upkeep of the branch.
Experience: 4- 7 years of relevant Experience in Microfinance
Education: Graduate – Any Specialization;

Key Accountabilities:
Operations Management:

  • Achieve branch targets of outreach, portfolio volume and portfolio quality  for both existing and new products and services as per agreed targets month on month
  • Maintain and ensure retention of clients on a month on month basis
  • Plan monthly disbursements at the branch to ensure standards of idol cash are maintained as per the limits set for the branch
  • Comply with accounting processes to manage and handle cash at the branch as per established norms
  • Monitor and maintain expenditure within the established limits at the branch level
  • Implement audit compliance procedures and checks at the branch at the required frequency
  • Conduct loan utilization checks periodically.
  • Coordinate GRTs for all new groups within specified timeline of KMs completing the CGTs
  • Ensure preparation and submission of all documents and reports as per agreed timelines

Administration:

  • Identify the location, space and procure infrastructure for the new branch and set-up the infrastructure for the branch with the support the regional Admin  Manager
  • Monitor  and ensure branch requirements in terms of stationary, supplies etc are adequate and  general upkeep is maintained month on month

People Management:

  • Review and monitor Kendra manager performance on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Ensure Kendra managers adhere to standards of client interaction, rapport and relationship building
  • Responsible for a team of 7 to 8 direct reports (KMs) and Cashier
  • Responsible for performance reviews of direct reports

Compensation: Salary will commensurate with qualification and experience.
